The JVC GB-1E (or model 5303) brought “sound in the round” to you living room. Each speaker boasted 8 speakers. Four pointing up and four pointing down to bounce sound in every direction. To show off the power of these speakers, JVC had set up 50 of them at Expo ’70 in Osaka. Each speaker represented a different member of an orchestra.
