The classic mid-century clock gets an update with a broader spectrum of colors and a lower voltage LED backlight that adjusts to the brightness in the room. I designed this Philco Ford R 666 clock radio in the late 1960’s. It was manufactured in our Taiwan plant. At the time, I was Director of Design fo audio products.
I’m in search of a circuit diagram and service manual specifically for this radio. The chassis is unique and compact. The radio I have requires disassembly to diagnose a low volume condition. I’m concerned about the tuner string removal and replacement. Is their a service manual out there specifically for this clock radio?
